ABOUT HBMEO
HBMEO is a creative marketing agency based in Amsterdam and Barcelona, specialising in the development and execution of innovative communication concepts. We work with luxury and lifestyle brands and are also active in trend forecasting, with a strong focus on the food and hospitality sectors.

ABOUT HOTEL NIGHT
Mastercard Hotelnacht is an annual event organised by HBMEO since 2013. During this festival, residents of Amsterdam have the chance to spend a weekend staying in luxury hotels in their own city, while enjoying culinary, creative, and cultural activities. The event offers a unique opportunity to experience being a tourist in their own city. For the upcoming edition, HBMEO is also working on organizing a special edition of Hotel NIght in Barcelona.

YOUR ROLE
As an intern at HBMEO, you will play a crucial role in helping to organise the Mastercard Hotelnacht. You will be responsible for maintaining contact with participating hotels, attendees, and partners in both Amsterdam and Barcelona. You will work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of the event.

YOUR TASKS
• Maintaining contact with participating hotels, attendees, and partners for the Mastercard Hotelnacht in Amsterdam.
• Assisting in the setup and coordination of the special edition of Hotel Night in Barcelona.
• Contributing to the planning and organisation of the event, including logistics and communication.
• Supporting the execution of creative communication concepts related to the event.
• Actively participating in meetings and brainstorming sessions with the team.

YOUR PROFILE
• You are a studying at a hotel management school or pursuing a degree in Marketing & Communication.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently.
• You are communicative, flexible, and professional.
• You have a passion for hospitality, event organisation, and marketing.
